At Hatta Horses, you’ll be riding Arabian horses - known for their calm temperament and endurance.

The riding experience

Choosing your route

You can choose from:

  • 30 minutes — AED 50

  • 1 hour — AED 100

  • 90 minutes — AED 130

  • 2 hours — AED 200

The one-hour ride is a great starting point, but if you have the time, the longer rides give you a better sense of the landscape.

What the trail is like

The routes are mostly flat, with a few gentle inclines and descents to keep things interesting.

You’ll pass:

  • Open desert tracks

  • Small lakes and water crossings

  • Palm trees and scattered greenery

  • Local residents along the route

One of the standout moments is riding through shallow water — simple, but surprisingly memorable.

What it feels like

There’s something about the rhythm of the ride that slows everything down.

No engines. No noise. Just the sound of hooves on the ground and the mountains surrounding you.

It’s one of the few activities in the UAE where you genuinely switch off.

Why this is worth doing

Hatta is known for its adventure activities - mountain biking, hiking, kayaking.

This is the opposite.

It’s slower, quieter and more reflective.

And that’s exactly why it stands out.

If you’re building a trip to Hatta, this is a perfect way to balance out the more high-energy experiences.

Final Thoughts

Hatta Horses isn’t about adrenaline or ticking off a challenge.

It’s about taking your time and experiencing the landscape differently.

If you’re open to that, it’s one of the most enjoyable and unexpected things you can do in the UAE.
